WebMingo: Founding the Open Creators Network

In the summer of twenty twenty-two, we completed a transformative project called Web-Mingo, which served as the founding initiative of the Open Creators Network. This project established a small web design teaching group in Ecuador, where participants met weekly, later increasing to twice a week, to learn the fundamentals of web design and web development. Beyond technical skills, we emphasized essential business knowledge, including conducting client interviews and completing projects. Over ten months, we equipped participants with the tools they needed to succeed, fostering a community of learners eager to make their mark in the digital world.
