Schnitzlerei.at: Revamping a Theatre’s Online Presence

We’re thrilled to share our latest project at Open Creators Network: a brand-new website for Vienna’s beloved participatory children’s theatre, Schnitzlerei (Link). This small yet vibrant theatre is dedicated to creating magical experiences for children and families, and they needed a stable, engaging online hub to showcase their productions and upcoming playdates.

To bring this vision to life, we connected Schnittlerei with Fabian, a talented Open Creators Network student from Panama. Under the mentorship of Felix, Fabian navigated the entire process, from client interaction to project execution, culminating in a beautifully designed WordPress website.

One of the standout features of the new site is a custom PHP module that seamlessly integrates with the Austrian ticketing platform, Kupf. This integration means that all ticketing information is easily managed through Kupf, while being updated in real time on the live website, making it simpler for the theatre team and more user-friendly for visitors.

We also focused on a playful, engaging design that appeals to children and families. The website now showcases not only upcoming playdates but also other offerings, like birthday parties and mobile theatre performances.

This project is a fantastic example of how Open Creators Network fosters collaboration and skill development, connecting creators from around the world to make meaningful impact. We’re excited to see Schnitzlerei thrive with their new online home!
