The Biblioteca Mindole project was a special collaboration between the local organization Salem Ecuador, Web-Mingo, and the Open Creators Network. Sherian and Edwin, two dedicated members from the original WebMingo group, took the lead in developing a fun, engaging website for the town’s library in Mindo, Ecuador.
The project aimed to create a playful and accessible online space for both children and the wider community to interact with the library’s offerings. With a vibrant and user-friendly design, the website captures the spirit of curiosity and learning that the library promotes. The outcome was a lively, welcoming platform that not only showcases the library’s resources but also connects the community in a meaningful way.
This project is another example of how the Open Creators Network continues to empower local communities through digital tools, bridging the gap between traditional spaces and modern technology.
